TRICK OR TREAT SCOOBY-DOO, Velma swoons with Coco Diablo clip

If you didn't know, Velma Dinkley made news last week when footage from the upcoming Scooby-Doo animated Halloween film Trick or Treat leaked, suggesting that the witty character would finally be publicly portrayed as a lesbian. On October 14, 2022, at 7 p.m. on Cartoon Network, the movie had its premiere. The following day, HBO Max streamed it. In addition, cartoon Network has made a preview clip of the movie available.

The Scooby Gang calls on Coco Diablo, played by Myrna Velasco, the fashionista behind the different bad guys the group has encountered over the years, to help them solve their most recent mystery. Velma, played by Kate Micucci, has a crush on Coco despite her lack of flirtatious abilities.
This Velma-related discovery became a significant news item covered by outlets including the New York Times, and NPR! And while it's not surprising that there were some naysayers, overall, the response has been extremely positive. Social media has already been inundated with fan art and cosplay of the popular figure Coco Diablo. Hopefully, this isn't Coco's final appearance.

The DVD version of Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo! It will be released on October 18.
